Launch the Figma application and open the design file containing the images you wish to replace.
Click on the image in your design canvas that you want to replace. This will select the image layer.
Look for the ‘Image’ section within the properties panel. You’ll notice an option to ‘Replace Image’. Click on it. A file dialog will appear, allowing you to either upload a new image from your device or select an image from your Figma assets or drafts. Choose the desired image and click ‘Open’ or ‘Insert’.
Once you’ve replaced the image, you can adjust its position, size, and other properties as needed. Use the resizing handles to scale the image or the alignment tools for precise positioning.
After replacing and adjusting the image, take a moment to review your design. Ensure that the new image fits seamlessly into your layout. Once satisfied with your design adjustments, it’s crucial to save it in a format that’s compatible with Power BI. While Figma’s native format is ideal for design work, Power BI generally accepts image formats like SVG, PNG or JPEG for backgrounds.
